ZOA Campus Activism Network
ZOA-CAN chapters on campuses across the country are exposed to dynamic speakers and informative booklets about Israel. They receive assistance in on and off-campus programming from the national ZOA, and they are invited to participate in national student Israel advocacy workshops. In addition, ZOA-CAN chapters partake in ZOA letter-writing campaigns and phone drives.
ZOA Speakers Bureau
The Campus Activism Network of the ZOA provides dynamic speakers from the ZOA National Speakers Bureau to campuses across the country. You can read about some of the available speakers online.
The College Zionist
The ZOA Campus Activism Network publishes a national student pro-Israel magazine, The College Zionist. Our first issue was a great success, with essays ranging from in-depth analysis of the Gaza withdrawal to an overview of the burgeoning Israeli high-tech industry. Nearly 15,000 copies were distributed. To read The College ZIonist online, visit www.thecollegezionist.org.
Israel Trips
The ZOA Israel program includes Israel advocacy seminars to train students to be campus activists. In addition to leadership training, students volunteer by visiting children in hospitals, delivering school supplies to immigrants, and building playgrounds for Jewish communities. Check out our Israel trip page for more information.
Adopt a Soldier
The ZOA Campus Activism Network has launched a new partnership program that connects students to Israeli soldiers. Through the Adopt a Soldier program, students interact with the brave Israeli soldiers who risk their lives to defend the Jewish homeland. Students exchange e-mails with their IDF counterparts and get together in select locations to assemble care packages. Click to Adopt a Soldier.
SpeedKnesset
SpeedKnesset is a new ZOA Campus Activism Network initiative aimed at educating students about Israeli democracy in a engaging and interactive way. In the program, students get to experience campaigning from the perspective of an Israeli political party and participate in a mock election. Visit our SpeedKnesset page for more information.
