Overview

ZOA is launching ZOA Women to formalize, strengthen, and expand women’s leadership and philanthropy within the organization and the broader American Jewish community. ZOA Women will serve as a national platform for education, advocacy, engagement, and leadership development, focused on strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship, confronting antisemitism and anti-Zionism, and elevating women as influential leaders and advocates.

Mission

Empowering women to lead, advocate, and mobilize on behalf of the Jewish people and the State of Israel through education, strategic advocacy, community engagement, and visible leadership.

Strategic & Philanthropic Objectives

ZOA Women is established to advance the following core objectives, in alignment with ZOA’s overall mission:

    1. Strengthen U.S.–Israel Relations
      Promote informed, principled advocacy in support of Israel and the U.S.–Israel alliance through education, programming, and public engagement.
    2. Combat Antisemitism & Anti-Zionism
      Equip women with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to confront antisemitism and anti-Israel narratives in their communities, workplaces, campuses, and social circles.
    3. Elevate Women’s Leadership & Philanthropy
      Showcase and expand the role of women as leaders and philanthropists within ZOA and the broader American Jewish and Zionist community.
    4. Expand Community Engagement & Membership
      Host local and regional events that communicate ZOA Women’s mission, attract new members, and build sustainable leadership pipelines.

Programs & Services

    1. Speaker & Expert Access
      A curated speakers bureau enabling members to host events featuring experts on Israel, antisemitism, lawfare, campus issues, media bias, and advocacy.
    2. Educational & Advocacy Materials
      Professionally designed digital presentations, talking points, and printed materials that members can use for events, meetings, and community outreach.
    3. Advocacy Support
      Clear, timely talking points and guidance for members responding to antisemitic or anti-Zionist incidents, including access to expert consultation when needed.
    4. Event & Logistical Support
      ZOA will provide logistical assistance for ZOA Women-branded events, including, when appropriate, a ZOA Women’s brunch held the day following ZOA galas.
